THRIVE for Executive Coaching

Leadership is a whole-person endeavor. THRIVE gives executives a structured, evidence-based framework to assess blind spots across every dimension of functioning -- not just skills, but the health, relationships, values, and purpose that sustain leaders under pressure.

The Executive Blind Spot

Most executive coaching focuses on leadership skills, communication, and strategic thinking. But the executives who flame out are almost never failing at "leadership skills." They are failing at dimensions no one helps them see: disconnection from nature, deteriorating health masked by performance, relational erosion, values misalignment, and unaddressed existential questions about legacy and meaning.

What Makes Our Executive Coaching Different

Most executive coaches come from business backgrounds. Ours comes from clinical psychology. Led by Dr. Ashvind Singh, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience, our coaching approach is grounded in psychological science, not just leadership theory. That means we can identify and work with the deeper patterns that drive executive behavior: attachment styles that shape how you lead, unresolved stress responses that surface under pressure, and identity dynamics that influence every decision you make.

This clinical foundation also means we recognize when coaching is not enough. If underlying mental health concerns are contributing to leadership challenges, we can identify that and provide or refer for appropriate support. Traditional coaches cannot make that distinction. We can.

Our work is structured through the THRIVE Framework, a peer-reviewed model published in Current Treatment Options in Psychiatry (Springer, 2025). Rather than relying on personality inventories or generic leadership competency models, THRIVE assesses six interconnected dimensions of human functioning, giving you a comprehensive map of where you are thriving and where hidden vulnerabilities may be undermining your effectiveness.

Who We Work With

Our executive coaching practice serves leaders who recognize that sustained high performance requires more than strategy and skill. We work with individuals who are ready to look honestly at every dimension of how they function.

  • C-suite executives and senior leaders navigating the isolation, decision fatigue, and identity pressures that come with leading at the highest levels
  • Directors and VPs preparing for the transition to senior leadership and the psychological shift it demands
  • Founders and entrepreneurs whose personal identity has become inseparable from their company, creating vulnerability in both domains
  • High-performing professionals in medicine, law, finance, and technology who are outwardly successful but privately struggling with burnout, meaning, or relational disconnection
  • Leaders in transition facing new roles, organizational change, retirement, or career pivots who need structured support through identity shifts

The THRIVE Coaching Process

Every engagement begins with a comprehensive assessment across all six THRIVE dimensions. This is not a personality test or a 360 review. It is a structured clinical and developmental evaluation that reveals where you are strong, where you are compensating, and where hidden vulnerabilities may be shaping your leadership without your awareness.

Six-Dimension Assessment

We evaluate your functioning across The Outdoors (nature connection and autonomic regulation), Holistic Health (physical resilience), Relationships (attachment and relational patterns), Internal Self (emotional awareness and self-regulation), Values (alignment between beliefs and actions), and Existential Meaning (purpose and legacy). The result is a personalized THRIVE profile that becomes the foundation for all coaching work.

Targeted Coaching Arc

Based on your profile, we design a coaching engagement that addresses your most pressing dimensions first while building capacity across all six. Sessions are typically bi-weekly or monthly, depending on your needs and schedule. We use a structured 60-30-10 allocation model: 60% of focus on your primary growth areas, 30% on secondary dimensions, and 10% on maintenance of existing strengths.

Ongoing Integration

Between sessions, you apply specific practices and experiments mapped to each THRIVE dimension. This is not homework for the sake of homework. Each practice is designed to create measurable shifts in how you lead, relate, and make decisions. Over time, the coaching relationship evolves from guided exploration to autonomous self-leadership.

Outcomes and Results

Leaders who engage in THRIVE-based coaching consistently report shifts that go well beyond improved performance metrics. Because we work across all six dimensions, the changes tend to be more durable and more deeply felt than those produced by conventional coaching.

  • Clearer decision-making rooted in values alignment rather than reactive pattern-matching
  • Greater emotional regulation under pressure, with fewer stress-driven blind spots
  • Stronger relationships at work and at home, including the ability to be vulnerable without losing authority
  • Renewed sense of purpose and connection to why the work matters beyond financial success
  • Improved physical vitality as health practices become integrated into the leadership rhythm rather than sacrificed to it
  • A coherent personal narrative that connects past experiences, present responsibilities, and future legacy into a unified sense of identity

Psychedelic-Assisted Executive Development

A growing number of executives are turning to psychedelic experiences as catalysts for personal and professional growth. For those who choose this path, THRIVE provides the structured, clinically informed framework that ensures the experience is properly prepared for, safely navigated, and meaningfully integrated into leadership and life.

This is entirely optional. Many executives work exclusively within the coaching framework and achieve significant results. But for leaders who are drawn to this approach, the combination of psychedelic experience and THRIVE-guided integration can accelerate breakthroughs in self-awareness, relational depth, values clarity, and existential meaning that might otherwise take years to reach through conventional methods alone.

Our team brings the same clinical rigor to psychedelic-assisted executive development that we apply to all our work. Every experience is supported by preparation sessions, in-experience guidance, and structured integration mapped across all six THRIVE dimensions. AHWI Psychology Group does not administer psychedelic substances. We provide the psychological preparation, support, and integration that surround the experience.

Frequently Asked Questions About Executive Coaching

Our coaching is led by a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience, not a business coach. This means we can identify and work with the deeper psychological patterns that drive executive behavior -- attachment styles, stress responses, identity dynamics -- and recognize when coaching alone is not enough and clinical support is needed.
THRIVE is a peer-reviewed, six-dimensional model (published in Springer, 2025) that assesses your functioning across The Outdoors, Holistic Health, Relationships, Internal Self, Values, and Existential Meaning. Instead of generic leadership competency models, it provides a comprehensive map of where you are thriving and where hidden vulnerabilities may be affecting your leadership.
It is coaching grounded in clinical psychology. We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions within the coaching engagement. However, our clinical training allows us to recognize when underlying issues may be contributing to leadership challenges and provide or refer for appropriate support when needed.
Most engagements run 3 to 6 months, with sessions held bi-weekly or monthly depending on your needs. The process begins with a comprehensive six-dimension assessment, followed by a targeted coaching arc using the 60-30-10 resource allocation model, and evolves toward autonomous self-leadership.

This is entirely optional. Some executives are exploring psychedelic experiences as catalysts for growth. For those who choose this path, we provide structured preparation and THRIVE-guided integration. Many executives work exclusively within the coaching framework and achieve significant results without this component.
