Our Team
Ashvind N. Adkins Singh, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and researcher with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals, organizations, and communities around the world improve mental health and wellbeing.
Dr. Singh earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University, with minors in Neuropsychology and Psychopharmacology. His diverse career includes clinical work and consultation with nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, foster care systems, and government agencies at the local, state, and federal levels, as well as with private organizations worldwide.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Singh is an executive coach who has supported leaders, creatives, and professionals across sectors, from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and public institutions. His coaching and therapeutic work share the same foundation: a deep commitment to helping people grow through awareness, resilience, and intentional change.
Dr. Singh is the creator of the THRIVE Model of Psychedelic Integration, a six-dimensional, evidence-based framework published in Current Treatment Options in Psychiatry (2025). The model bridges Indigenous healing epistemologies, neuroscience, and clinical psychology to address a critical gap in the field: only 14% of published psychedelic trials report formal integration metrics. Today, THRIVE is applied across psychedelic therapy, complex trauma treatment, executive coaching, and trader performance optimization, with dedicated assessment tools including the THRIVE Respondent Interview Protocol (TRIP), client workbooks for ketamine, psilocybin, and microdosing, and a clinician's training manual.
Dr. Singh is the co-founder of the Psychedelic Society of Virginia and serves as Director of Research for the Psychedelic Parenthood Community, where he oversees research examining the therapeutic, developmental, and psychosocial impacts of psychedelic-assisted interventions within parenting contexts. He also serves as Education and Clinical Advisor to Eleusinia Psilocybin Retreat in Mexico and sits on the international advisory boards for Consciousness, Mindfulness & Compassion (Rome, Italy) and the Psychedelic Parenthood Community (Brazil).
His specialized training includes certificates in Psychedelic Therapy and Integration, Trauma-Informed Care, MDMA-Assisted Therapy, and Applied Mindfulness for Psychedelic Therapy. He is a PSYPACT interstate provider, enabling him to offer telehealth services across 40+ participating states from his practice base in Charlottesville, Virginia.
A dedicated mindfulness and meditation practitioner in the Zen and Tibetan traditions, Dr. Singh has taught and trained individuals globally in the application of mindfulness for healing and resilience. His international teaching and research spans six continents, with invited presentations at institutions including Sapienza University of Rome (where he co-organized the First International Conference on Mindfulness), Esalen Institute in Big Sur, the University of Surrey (United Kingdom), and conferences in Australia, India, Malaysia, and Canada.
With 70+ peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, assessment instruments, and clinical manuals, Dr. Singh's work spans mindfulness-based interventions, psychopharmacology, neuropsychological assessment, psychedelic integration, and developmental disabilities. He is a peer reviewer for journals including the Journal of Anxiety Disorders, Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Research in Developmental Disabilities, and co-developed standardized assessment instruments used in clinical and research settings, including the Questions About Behavioral Function (QABF-MI and QABF-SF).
Dr. Singh's therapeutic approach integrates the mind, body, and self, combining evidence-based psychological methods with mindfulness and psychoeducation to foster meaningful, sustainable change. His work continues to bridge science, tradition, and compassion to help clients live with clarity, balance, and purpose.
